On 7th January 2026, Sustainable Development Initiative (SDI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Almarah Foundation to foster collaborative efforts in community development, youth engagement, and social welfare initiatives.

Through this partnership, SDI aims to strengthen its outreach by engaging students in meaningful volunteer work, community service projects, and awareness campaigns aligned with SDG-focused activities. The collaboration will provide UMT students opportunities to participate in field-based learning, leadership development, and impactful community engagement programs organized by Almarah Foundation.

Green Upshot

SDI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Green Upshot on 22nd December 2025 to strengthen collaborative efforts in the areas of sustainability, environmental awareness, and community engagement. This partnership aims to promote joint initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a particular focus on environmental responsibility, youth engagement, and sustainable practices. Healing Shades

On 26th November 2025, the Sustainable Development Initiative (SDI) at UMT formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Healing Shades at Iqbal Lounge. This partnership aims to promote community well-being, mental health awareness, and collaborative opportunities for student engagement under the Civic and Community Engagement framework.

On December 12, 2025 -- SDI signed an MoU with the Pakistan Society for Rehabilitation of Differently Abled (PSRD), a renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to providing rehabilitation, healthcare, education, and vocational training for persons with disabilities. For decades, PSRD has played a pivotal role in empowering differently-abled individuals through comprehensive support services, fostering inclusion, dignity, and independence.

On 24th November 2025, Sustainable Development Initiative (SDI) at UMT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abandoned Souls Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and welfare of abandoned animals. This partnership marks a meaningful step toward promoting animal welfare, awareness, and compassion within the student community.

Spirit Nursing Care & Old Age Home

SDI signed a MoU with Spirit Nursing Care & Old Age Home on 13th November 2025, a trusted organization providing reliable and compassionate home healthcare across major cities of Pakistan since 2012. The MoU marks a significant step toward strengthening community healthcare, elderly care, and student engagement in practical health service initiatives.

With over 12 years of dedicated service, Spirit Nursing Care has supported thousands of families by delivering professional healthcare at home, hospitals, and elderly care facilities, always treating patients with dignity and respect. On 8th October 2025, the Sustainable Development Initiative (SDI) at UMT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pahchaan Foundation, an organization dedicated to the protection and promotion of child rights and committed to preventing child abuse and neglect through awareness, advocacy, and capacity building within communities.

Through this collaboration, SDI students will gain hands-on experience through field-based learning, awareness drives, and community support initiatives, fostering compassion, leadership, and real-world impact.

SDI signed a MoU with Chanan Development Association on 9th October 2025, a national youth-led organization dedicated to empowering young people and promoting meaningful youth participation since 2004.

With nearly two decades of experience, CDA has implemented 70+ projects across Pakistan, training and inspiring over 1 million young people through education, leadership, and socio-economic development initiatives. Through this collaboration, SDI students will gain hands-on opportunities for capacity building, community engagement, and leadership training, reinforcing the mission of inclusive development and empowered youth participation.

On October 8, 2025 Sustainable Development Initiative (SDI) at UMT signed a MoU with Dastak Welfare Foundation. A non profit organization providing free medical care to children suffering from Thalassemia, Hemophilia, and Blood Cancer. The partnership aims to enhance social responsibility, compassion, and inclusive service, enabling students to actively contribute to the well-being of vulnerable children and their families.

Alzheimer's Pakistan

SDI signed a MoU with Alzheimer's Paksitan on 29th September 2025, a national organization dedicated to supporting individuals with Alzheimer's and related dementias, as well as their caregivers. This partnership will prove a significant step toward raising awareness, education, and community support for families affected by neurodegenerative disorders.

Through this partnership, SDI students will gain hands-on experience in awareness campaigns, educational initiatives, and community outreach programs focused on Alzheimer's and related dementias. Endless Welfare Foundation

On 22nd September 2025, the Sustainable Development Initiative (SDI) at UMT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Endless Welfare Foundation, a non-profit organization in Lahore dedicated to empowering children with disabilities through education, health, and rehabilitation services.

Through this partnership, SDI students will gain hands-on experience in educational support, health initiatives, and rehabilitation programs for children with disabilities. Ali Zafar Foundation

SDI signed a MoU with Ali Zafar Foundation on September 19, 2025, an organization established by Mr. Ali Zafar (Pride of Performance) and dedicated to tranforming education through technology, innovation, and equitable access to learning. The Foundation is actively working toward building an AI-driven future by supporting smart classrooms, teacher training, digital literacy, scholarships, and infrastructure development in underserved schools.

On September 19, 2025 SDI signed a MoU with One Vision Society - a Christian faith-based national relief and social development organization dedicated to uplifting marginalized and vulnerable communities across Pakistan.

One Vision Society works to ensure access to essential services including education, healthcare, youth and children development, disaster relief and the fulfilment of basic human needs.

Through this partnership, SDI students will have the opportunity to actively participate in community outreach, service initiatives and development projects - enabling them to contribute to tangible, positive change while fostering values of compassion, inclusion and dedicated civic engagement.

Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation:

SDI has partnered with the Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation (PCHF) through an MoU signed on September 10, 2024, to promote ethical standards and sustainable practices in pediatric healthcare. Hemophilia patients’ welfare society - HPWS
